We now see the new county of Gasconade shown that was formed Jan 1, 1821 and the lands attached to it.  It is interesting to note the Osage Boundery that is nearly on the western border of the state.

Baylies Creek is shown here as becoming important enough to list on maps.  Also, the River of the Forest which is neither the Big or Little Piney or the Roubioux seems to have an explaination.  If the crosslines indicate areas that have been surveyed, then is appears this area including the river is still unknown and the river in question has been mistakenly thought to be much larger then reality.
