We are currently reviewing and evaluating contractor bids for the roofing restoration of the Zewicki House. This step is essential to ensure the work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality.

Once a contractor is selected, and with the continued support of donations, we will move forward with the full removal of the existing asbestos roofing down to the rafters. From there, new plywood sheathing will be installed, followed by a durable roofing system and properly fitted gutters to protect the home for years to come. Alongside the roofing, we are also fixing the plumbing.

This project is a critical investment in the structural integrity and long-term preservation of the Zewicki House. However, its success depends on the generosity of those willing to support the effort.
